T. V. Kornilova

Dr. sci. (psychology), professor of the department of psychology, faculty of psychology, MSU, Moscow

The leading directions of construction of studying subject in contemporary decision making psychology are considered. The methodological background of two native conceptions is marked out. Using the example of these two conceptions the variety of ways for building of psychological knowledge are described. These ways distinguished by the orientation on the different methodological principles: rigid prescription or uncertainty of decision making structures; distinctness or openness of hierarchy of processes mediated decision making; closed regulative profiles or dynamic regulative systems.

Key words: decision making, uncertainty, rationality, theory of goal-directed activity, integrative processes, motivation, metacontrol.
