1) Етап підготовки до читання.

Бесіда з учнями за малюнками до тексту.

T: Now let’s open the books at page 33 exercise 1. Picture a. Who can we see in this picture?

Who are they? Where are they? Who are they talking about? Is Bill at Grandparents’?

Where’s Bill?

Picture b. Who can we see in this picture? Is Tim afraid of the dog?

Picture c. Who can we see in this picture? Does Kate like the dog?

2) Етап читання.

Read the dialogues and tell: what is the name of the dog? How does a dog say?

Учні про себе читають діалог й відповідають на запитання. Потім учні читають діалог

за ролями.

3) Етап перевірки розуміння змісту тексту.

Учитель читає твердження до діалогу, а учні погоджуються чи не погоджуються з ними.

T: The Greenwoods summer camp is in England.

Bill is in Germany.

Kate can tell where Bill is.

Tobby is Kate’s dog.

Kate and Tim are cousins.

Kate and Bill are cousins.

Bill and Tim are cousins.

Grammar 4. Відпрацювання конструкції Where is…?

1) Впр. 2 (с. 34).

Учні хором за вчителем читають слова, словосполучення й речення вправи.

2) Впр. 3 (с. 34).

Учні спочатку усно, а потім письмово відповідають на запитання вправи. Наприкінці

уроку вчитель збирає зошити.

5. Фізкультхвилинка.

Вірш-гра «Cat and Mouse».

Cat: Little mouse, little mouse, where is your house?

Mouse: Little cat, little cat, I have no flat.

I’m a poor mouse, I have no house.

Cat: Little mouse, little mouse, come to my house!

Mouse: Little cat, little cat, I can’t do that.

You want to catch me! You want to eat me!

Учитель пояснює незнайомі слова та речення. Учні хором повторюють вірш за вчите-

лем. Потім починають гру. Учні разом з учителем утворюють коло. Два учні — «кіт»

і «мишка» — у центрі кола розповідають вірш за ролями. Після слів «You want to catch

me! You want to eat me!» «кіт» намагається наздогнати «мишку». Діти у колі допома-

гають «мишці», не пускаючи «кота» за межі кола.

І. ПІДГОТОВКА ДО СПРИЙНЯТТЯ ІНШОМОВНОГО МОВЛЕННЯ

Greeting and Aim

1. Привітання й повідомлення теми та мети уроку.

T: Т ема нашого уроку «Будинок, квартира». Сьогодні ви навчитесь називати кімнати

в будинку чи квартирі й описувати їхнє розташування, використовуючи словосполу-

чення on the right/left.

Warming up 2. Уведення в іншомовну атмосферу.

1) Вірш «Kate’s Playing with a Ball».

One, two, three, four.

Kate is sitting on the floor.

She’s playing with a ball and a pretty little doll.

One, two, three, four.

Tom is sitting on the floor.

He’s playing with a car and a pretty little star.

Учитель пояснює незнайомі слова та речення. Учні хором повторюють вірш за вчите-

лем; потім вірш розповідають по черзі три-чотири учні.

2) Підготовка до сприйняття нового лексичного матеріалу.

Учитель пише на дошці слова, знайомі й незнайомі, серед яких є такі, що позначають

кімнати: bedroom, wardrobe, bed, living-room, bath, chair, bathroom.

T: Look at the words and guess which of them mean different rooms. How do you know?

What similar part have they got? What rooms are they?

We can see these rooms and even more on page 37 of our textbook.

Presentation and Practice

1. Подання лексичного матеріалу.

1) Бесіда за малюнками в підручнику.

T: Look at the pictures on page 37. The top picture on the left. This is a kitchen. Це —

кухня. Point to the kitchen. What can we do in the kitchen? Can we cook in the kitchen?

Can we eat in the kitchen?

Якщо діти не розуміють значення дієслів cook/eat etc, учитель зображує дію, яку

називає, або перекладає слово українською мовою.

T: The top picture on the right. This is a bathroom. Це — ванна кімната. Point to the bathroom.

What can we do in the bathroom? Can we wash our hands/face in the bathroom?

The picture below on the right. This is a living-room. Це — вітальня. Point to the livingroom.

What can we do in the living-room? Can we read/watch TV/have a rest in the livingroom?

The picture below on the left. This is a bedroom. Це — спальня. Point to the bedroom.

What can we do in the bedroom? Can we sleep in the bedroom?

2) Бесіда.

T: What rooms are there in your house/flat?

Учні називають кімнати в своєму будинку чи квартирі.

3) Гра «Ghost writing».

Учитель «пише» в повітрі слова-назви кімнат, а учні повинні здогадатися, що це за слово.

Reading 2. Подання діалогу для читання, впр. 1 (с. 37—38).

1) Етап підготовки до читання.

Бесіда з учнями за малюнками до тексту.

T: Look at the pictures a—c on pages 37—38 and tell what rooms you can see there. Who

is showing Kate round the rooms?

2) Етап читання.

Т: Read the dialogues and find there words and word-combinations with the word «room».

Учні про себе читають діалоги й виконують завдання.

Потім учні читають діалоги за ролями.

3) Етап перевірки розуміння змісту тексту.

T: What rooms are there in Grandma’s house? How many rooms for children? Does Kate

have her room? What room is on the right/left? What does Kate like in the living-room?

Учні відповідають на запитання вчителя.

Pronunciation 3. Практикування у вимовлянні звуків.

1) Виконання впр. 2 (с. 38).

T: Please open your books at page 38. Exercise 2. Let’s practise the sounds.

Учні повторюють за учителем звуки, а також слова, в яких є ці звуки; учитель

контролює правильність вимовляння.

2) Скоромовка «From the cinema to the theatre» (відпрацювання звуків [s] i [7]).

Учитель бере два невеликі предмети, наприклад, олівець і ручку, в праву й у ліву ру-

ки. Олівець буде позначати «кінотеатр», а ручка — «театр».

T: From the cinema (учитель кладе олівець на стіл) to the theatre (учитель кладе на

стіл ручку), from the theatre (вказує на ручку) to the cinema (вказує на олівець).

Ps: From the cinema to the theatre, from the theatre to the cinema.
