A. Tom (have) a ten-minute break from his boring office job, when he (see) an interesting advertisement in a magazine. Some people (plan) to sail around the world. They (look) for another member of the crew for their boat. Tom (sigh) and (look) around his office. Everyone (type) letters and the phones (ring), just as they (do) every day. B. The sun (shine) and the birds (sing) as Mike (drive) down the country lane. He (smile) because he (look forward) to the journey ahead. Mike (enjoy) driving, especially when he (go) somewhere new. D. When I (wake up), I found the sun (shine) and the temperature (rise) fast. Liz (make) breakfast in the kitchen, while John and Sarah (drink) coffee on the balcony.
