Другие случаи употребления.

 

Настоящее время группы Continuous употребляется также для обозначения:

 

1) вр е менных действий, происходящих в более длительный промежуток времени от одного дня до года с такими обозначениями времени как today  – сегодня, these days –в настоящее время, this week – на этой неделе, this season [ˈsiːzən] – в этом сезоне

He is building a robot these days.          Он конструирует робота сейчас/ в       

                                                               настоящее время.                                          

 

2) динамических действий и процессов

 

His English is getting better.                 Его английский улучшается.

 

3) эмоционального состояния, связанного с действиями другого человека. При этом используются слова always, constantly [ˈkɔnstəntli] – постоянно

 

You are constantly smoking! (раздражение) Ты постоянно куришь!

 

4) эмоционального отказа выполнять действие

 

I’m not cooking again tonight!	Я не буду готовить сегодня!
I’m never [ˈnevə] speaking to you again!	Я не буду больше с тобой разговаривать!

 

5) действий, заранее запланированных на будущее

 

They are going to the park next week.	Они идут в парк на следующей неделе.
She is going to the dentist on Monday.   He is having dinner with Ann on Friday.   They are going to the restaurant on Sunday.	Она идет к зубному врачу в понедельник. Он ужинает с Анной в пятницу.   Они идут в ресторан в  воскресенье.
