Strong men wear no pyjamas. They wear night-shirts and disdain men, who wear such effeminate things as pyjamas. Theodore Roosevelt wore nightshirts. So did Washington, Lincoln, Napoleon, Nero and many other famous men.

These arguments in favour of the night-shirt as against pyjamas are advanced by Dr. Davis, of Ottawa, who has formed a club of night-shirt wearers. The club has a branch in Montreal and a strong group in New York. Its aim is to re-popularise the night-shirt as sign of real manhood. ( . , , , . . , , , , . - , . , -. . . .) .
