The Future Perfect Continuous is used to denote:

– An action which is expected to have begun before a certain moment in the future and goes on up to that moment or into it.

e.g. “I shall have been living there for five years next February.”

A man (go) to the Police Station wishing to speak with the burglar who (break) into his house the night before.

“You (get) your chance in court,” (say) the Desk Sergeant.

“No, no!” (cry) the man. “All I (want) (be) to know how he (manage) to get into the house without waking my wife. I (try) to do that for years but to no avail!”
