Group working with pregnant women: Social- psychological aspect

The psychological significance of pregnancy period for mother, child and society at all is emphasized. Pregnancy is considered as an existential situation which determines deep changes in self-conscientiousness, relations to other people and the world. The mother's relations to herself, fetus and fetal father are considered as significant relations. The principles of the group work with pregnant women are discussed and short description of the group program is presented. The relevance of such form of psychological practice which improves physic and mental health of two generation is emphasized.
