I. Greeting.
T: Hello, girls and boys! Glad to see you. Welcome to our party.
Ch: Hello. Glad to see you, too.
T: How are you?
Ch: Fine. (Great, etc.) Thank you. And you?
T: Great, thanks. Now let’s greet our guests, (указываете на гостей)
Ch: Good morning, (2 раза)

II. Introducing yourselves.
T: Let’s introduce ourselves to the guests.

III. The sound letter (the riddle).

Hi, girls and boys! We are two merry friends. We like dancing, singing songs, playing games and guessing riddles. We live on the Bear Islands. See you soon.
T: So, who is going to visit us?
Ch: Teddy Cool and Teddy Honey.

IV. Meeting the Bears.
Knock-knock-knock. (Раздается стук в дверь.)
Т: Who is there?
(Демонстрируете макеты медвежат Тедди Кул и Тедди Хани. Играете роль медвежат.) Teddy Cool: It’s me, Teddy Cool.
Teddy Honey: It’s me, Teddy Honey.
Bears (B): May we come in?
Ch: Sure. Come in, please.
B: Hello, children! Nice to meet you.
Ch: Hi! Nice to meet you, too. (Или, приветствуя медвежат, учащиеся поют песню “Hello ”, подставляя имена медвежат.) (См. урок 2.)
В: How are you?
Ch: Fine (Great, etc.), thank you. And you?
T: Great (Very well, etc.). Thanks.
B: Oh, at last we’re here. We’re tired a bit. We’ve made a long trip Let’s have a rest.
T: Медвежата немного устали и хотят отдохнуть. Пусть они отдохнут. Let’s sing the song about the bears for them. Do you remember the song “Teddy bear, touch your nose”? (См. урок 14.)
Ch: Yes, we do./Sure. (поют песню)

Ch: (поют песню и отгадывают виды транспорта) It’s a ship (a plane, a car, etc.).
В: What means of transport do you like travelling?
T: Медвежата хотят знать, какими видами транспорта вы любите путешествовать.
Teddy Cool and Teddy Honey like guessing different riddles. So, let’s play the miming game. Один из вас будет показывать вид транспорта, а медвежата будут отгадывать. Но мы, конечно, будем помогать им.
Pupil 1: (изображает вид транспорта)
Ch: (отгадывают) Is it a car (a boat, etc.)?
Т: Я слышала, что однажды наши находчивые медвежата, спасаясь от преследователей, смастерили дельтаплан (a hang glider). С тех пор полеты на дельтаплане — их любимое занятие. Teddy Cool and Teddy Honey are happy that they can fly! Imagine that you can fly, too. Let’s sing the song “I can fly and you can fly! ” together! (См. урок 37.)

V. Welcome to our party.
T: Почему веселые медвежата решили к нам приехать? What do you think?
Ch: (возможные ответы)
T: Дело в том, что они узнали о нашем конкурсе на лучший проект “Our Magic Island”. You know that they live on the Bear Islands. They want to learn about your make-believe islands. (Let’s invite the Bears to take part in our party.) Давайте пригласим медвежат принять участие в нашем празднике.
Т—Ch: Welcome to our party.
В: With pleasure, thank you.
B: We would like to look at your islands. Tell us, please, about them.
T: Sure. Children, let’s count to choose the group who will start talking about their island. (Считалка в уроке 19.)
Ch: (одна из творческих групп учеников представляет свой проект)
Т: (в случае необходимости задаете наводящие вопросы) Например: Is your island big/nice/...? Are there any caves, rivers... on the island? Are there any fruit trees there? Who lives on your island? Are there any animals, Indians, mermaids... there? Who are they? What are they like? What do they like doing on the island? What can they do (well)? What can’t they do? What sports are they good at? Do they like fruit? Which fruits do they like? Have they got any families? Have they got any friends? Who are they? What are they like?
T: Well done!/Excellent!/Great! Any questions?

В: Lovely! Thank you. We like your island. We’d like to visit it. By the way, we know the song “There’s an island in an ocean”. Do you know it? Let’s sing it together. (См. урок 40.)

В: Perfect! (Well done! Fine!) You know that there’s a cool Teddy Club on our island. We like dancing there. Do you like dancing?

В: Then let’s dance and play “Freeze”. Do you know how to play this game?

В: Listen to the music and dance until the music stops, then you “freeze”. (См. урок 28.)

Т: Вы представили медвежатам только один остров. What can you tell the Bears about the other islands? What interesting places are there on your islands? Let’s play the game “The more the better”.
Ch: There’s/are... on our island. (Каждая группа по очереди рассказывает, что находится у них на острове. За каждое правильное предложение группа получает балл. Побеждает та группа, у которой больше баллов, т. е. у которой больше интересных мест на острове.)

В: There’re so many different and interesting places on your islands. And are there any fruit trees on your island?
Ch: (каждая группа рассказывает о своем острове) There’re... on our island.
В: There are a lot of fruits on your islands. We like different fruits. Do you like fruit?
T: Let’s play the game “I like/I dislike” to tell the Bears about our tastes in fruit. (См. урок 46.)
Ch: (играют в игру с мячом по аналогии с игрой «Съедобное—несъедобное»)
В: As we see, tastes differ.
T: А какие пословицы и поговорки о вкусах вы знаете? (См. уроки 46, 47.)
Ch: (возможные ответы)
Т: На вкус и цвет товарищей нет, но все-таки бывает, что вкусы совпадают. Let’s sing the song about it. Do you remember the song “Plums and apples”? (См. урок 46.)

T: Хорошо, наверное, живется обитателям ваших островов с таким разнообразием фруктов.

Вопрос в этом разделе мероприятия является одним из самых главных в плане реализации воспитательных целей. В ходе предшествующих уроков ученики должны были прийти к осознанию того, что на волшебном острове им не обойтись без родителей, бабушек и дедушек, без любимых друзей, а также без их любви и заботы, которых так не хватало потерянным мальчишкам. Лейтмотив последних уроков о важности проявления заботы о своих близких со стороны учеников также должен был подтолкнуть их к правильному выбору.
В: And who lives on your islands?
Ch: (отвечают на вопрос)
В: And are there any animals there?
T: Teddy Cool and Teddy Honey like guessing riddles. Think of an animal who lives on one of your islands. Let the Bears guess who it is. (См. урок 37.)
Ch: (загадывают загадки)
(Вариант: Медвежата могут ошибаться, и вы просите детей помочь им отгадать. Можно спеть песенку с движениями “Skip to my lou, my darling”. (См. урок 9.)
В: There’re a lot of animals on your islands. And are there any pirates, Indians or mermaids on your islands? (Who else lives there?) Кто еще живет на ваших островах?
Ch: (отвечают на вопрос) There’re... there./... live(s) on our island(s).
B: What are they like? (Are they kind or evil?)
Ch: They are/aren’t....
T: Which of the inhabitants on your islands do you like best? (Who do you dislike?) Let’s play “Guess who!”. Choose any character, tell us about him/her but don’t tell the name. We’ll try to guess who it is. (См. урок 28.)

B: We’d like to know more about your favourite characters. What can they do?
T: Let’s play the game “Let’s boast” and answer the Bears’ question. Do you remember how to play this game? (См. урок 37.)
Ch: They can swim. They can swim and climb, etc.
B: We don’t believe you. They can’t do so many things!
T: Let’s sing the song “This is the way” to show the Bears that the characters can do all these things. (См. урок 23.)
Ch: (поют песню, сопровождая слова соответствующими движениями)
В: Oh, now we know that they can do a lot of different things. And what do they like doing?
T: Let the Bears guess. Let’s play “Guessing game” (см. урок 8) or “The miming game” (см. урок 39)
(Ученики могут индивидуально загадывать и показывать соответствующие движения. Как вариант, можно разделить класс на две команды. Каждая команда обсуждает, что будет демонстрировать один из игроков. Затем игрок демонстрирует какое-либо увлечение при помощи пантомимы. Игроки другой команды отгадывают, задавая вопросы. Например: Do they like hunting? (No, they don’t./Yes, they do.) Или класс можно разделить на команды по количеству групп, разрабатывающих проекты островов.)
В: And we like sports. Do your favourite characters like sports? What sports are they good at?
Ch:... are (is) good at....
B: And we are good at swimming. What sports and games are you good at?

Т: Все время мы предлагали нашим медвежатам поиграть в игры. Now the Bears suggest playing one of their favourite games.
B: Let’s play the game “Bears say”. (Игра проводится по аналогии с игрой “Simon says” (см. урок 28). После выполнения команд медвежат ведущим может быть кто-либо из учеников.)
Ch: (выполняют команды медвежат)
В: Well done! We like your games. Do you like our games?
Ch: (возможные ответы)
В: We like your islands a lot! We would like to invite some of the inhabitants of your islands to the Bear Islands.
В: Кого бы вы посоветовали им пригласить, а кого нет и почему?
Ch: (рассказывают о своих любимых героях) (См. урок 7 и далее.)
В: They are so nice that we would like to see them all on our Bear Islands.

VI. Summing up. Saying goodbye.
T: Thank you, boys and girls. Good job!

Приведенный выше сценарий представляет собой один из возможных вариантов проведения заключительного мероприятия. Поняв общий замысел, вы сможете разработать свой собственный сценарий, учитывая интересы и возможности ваших учеников. Например, вы можете включить в свой сценарий те песни и игры, которые ваши ученики лучше знают или которые им больше нравятся. Главное, чтобы все ученики приняли активное участие в мероприятии, ощутили свои успехи, осознали, какие они способные, как многому они научились, как много узнали, и им есть, о чем рассказать своим родителям и друзьям.
