Dry and semi-sweet wines
The best table wines are made from Rkatsiteli, Aligote, Riesling, Semillon and Silvaner grapes.
High quality of wine depends on the distilling process, on the sort of grapes, on soil and climate.
Dry table wines are rather mild — from 9 to 12 per cent. Acidity varies from 6 to 9 g/litre. Such a combination of alcohol content, acidity (for dry wines) and sugar content (2—5 per cent for semi-sweet wines) makes the wine light, fresh and full-bodied.
A distinguishing feature of dry wines is that they preserve the fresh flavour of the grapes they are made from.
The wine distilleries of the Russian Federation and the Ukraine, Georgia and Moldavia supply vintage and ordinary dry and semi-sweet wines to the dry- and semi-sweet wineshop of the Moscow Inter-Republican Wine Distillery. The shop is fitted with the latest equipment to preserve the high qualities of the incoming brands of wine. Constant low temperature is maintained in it. This, as well as the absence of any conservants in processing and distilling, result in obtaining stable natural semi-dry wines of original brands.
Throughout the production cycle (distilling, maturing and processing) the wines are guarded against excessive contact with the air.
The wineries of Russian Federation supply to The Moscow Wine Distillery a variety of grape wines ranging from table to dessert

Wines and Brandies
The vine appeared on earth millions of years ago. Imprints of leaves on stones and fossilized seeds, found by geologists deep in the earth entrails give the scientists grounds to say that in our country grape culture is 25 million years old. Cultured grapes originate from the Transcaucasus and Central Asia.
Upon discovering grapes, man finally arrived at wine-making. In ancient times man preserved sweet grape juice. After a few days in a vessel, the juice turned into a sweet fermenting mass and then into wine.
