What sport events are you following watching them on TV or visiting stadiums. P1: The World Championship in gymnastics is taking place in Germany these days. When Im free, I watch it on TV, Spotrs Channel. Im a grat fan of the Ukrainian team. T: When did it start& P1: Two days ago. T: So it has been going on for three days. P2: The European football cup is taking place in Italy. Im fond of football and I often play football. T: When did the Cup start and when did you start playing football? P2: The Cup started two days ago. I started playing football when I was 6. T: So the Cup has been going on for five days and you have been playing football for five years. , , , 䳿 . , : The European Football cup is taking place now. The cup has been going on for five days. I play football. I have been playing football for five years. ( 䳿, Present Continuous nf Present Simple, , Perfect Continuous) So today well learn to speak about actions that started in the past? Lasted for some time and are going on now.

He has been attending this sports club for two years and he has achieved really good results in the city tournament. A: Who is his coach? B: Mr Johnson. He has been working as a coach for more than ten years. A: Then he is very qualified.   2) Now answer my questions. Give short answers. 1. Where is Alan going to? 2.
