The future perfect continuous

Formation

We make the future perfect continuous by using will have been and present participle.

Example: By October we will have been living here for five years.

I will have been waiting here for three hours by six oclock.

Questions are made by putting the auxiliary verb will before the subject.

Example: How long will you have been occupying this position next year?

When I come at 6:00, will you have been practicing long?

Negatives are made by putting not after the auxiliary verb.

Example: By 2015 you will not have been living in this country long enough to participate in the election.

In three months, Kate and Derek wont have been seeing each other for a year.
