Of course, we all believe in saving wild animals, which are part of our environment. We’ve all enjoyed going to the zoo, and enjoyed seeing programmes on TV about wild life. However, we know that thousands of …………………..are in danger. And the situation is getting ………….What are we going to do about it? Naturalists have suggested different solutions> I think we ………help animals by taking part in ………or talking about these facts on TV. We should also educate people to respect wild life. What would our world be like if all wild animals…………..?I think it would be a boring place.
Air pollution is one of the main problems of today. Fumes from the automobiles contain a number of polluting substances. Pollution from factories and plants is destroying the ozone layer. Waste gases cause acid rain. It is damaging to water, forest, and soil resources. It leads to the disappearance of fish from many lakes, death of forests in European mountains.
How to help?
Our environment must be clean. If we don't do anything about this spoiling of the world around us — its air, its water, its land, and its life — our lives are not going to be so nice. What must we do for it?
Factories can install purifying systems, and the dirty water and smoke can be made clean. Cars and planes could use fuels which are low in pollutants and alternative forms of power such as solar energy.
The cutting of trees should be done with care. We must plant again where we have cut. And we can have enough wood for houses and paper for books.
There is no need to throw away things we do not want or cannot use any more. We can change many things back into what they were made of, and use them again. Old newspapers can become new paper. Old glass jars can be turned into new glass. Old iron can help to make new cars and refrigerators.
Environmental movements and mass media should organize anti-pollution acts.
We can also learn not to litter. The most important thing is to change our attitude towards the environment. Man should stop taking from it everything he needs. People should realize that natural resources are not unlimited and destroying them may result in destroying life on Earth. They should keep air and water clean and control the man's influence on the climate.
The Earth is our home. What sort of home it is depends on how we treat it, how we take care of it.
