Finance and Technology Academy (FTA) and its Traditions

Finance and Technology Academy is one of the higher schools in Russia. Its history began in 1998 work the formation of Korolev Institute of Management, economics and sociology (KIMES). Now FTA is one of the 100 best universities in Russia. In 2013 we celebrate our 15th anniversary.

There are 6 faculties at FTA: Economics and Finance, IT Technology, Humanities and Social Sciences, Innovation and Management, Supplementary Education and Part-time Studies. There are two systems of education, European and traditional.

Our Academy is well-equipped. It has 2 modern buildings with interactive rooms, conference halls and a library. Nearly every class has a computer, a projector and an interactive board. The third building is under construction now, and it will be equipped in the same way. Its a rave case among-higher academic education institutions in our country.

As to often facilities, we have a hostel, canteens and a printing shop, we rent different sport venues for PE classes. Our sport teams play at local and regional competitions.

As any other, we have lots of traditions, like Welcome to new students with a picnic and outdoor games; Tatianas Day, 25 January, when the first Russian university was founded; the Memory Watch, 9 March, meeting veterans and team building and adaptation for 1st year students.

We also have many extra-curricular activities like singing, modern dance and drama studios. Their participants regularly perform at students amateur arts competitions.

We love our Academy for useful knowledge, possibilities of internships and an interesting students live.
