TRANSFER OF THE TELEVISION SIGNAL

The television signal is the set of electric signals containing information on the television image and a sound. In most cases the term is used in relation to analog television because the digital television operates with such concept as a data flow.

The full television signal of color analog television represents set of three signals: the video signal bearing information on brightness of the image, the color coded information on color of the image, and a sound signal.

Each of the listed signals uses the carrier frequency for transfer on distance which is defined by the concrete standard of television broadcasting and number of the used channel. The difference of the carrier frequencies of video signal and a sound is strictly standardized in each country and doesn't depend on the used number of broadcast channel. In Russia the analog broadcasting standard providing the fixed difference of the carrier video signal and a sound in 6,5 MHz is accepted.
