The article dealt with the role of literary education in intercultural and interethnic communication, identifies ways to effectively realize the potential of national and world literature as a means of withdrawal of international conflicts and the development of international humanitarian international code. Concrete implementation of the scheme of building a literary education: either the two inter-related, but parallel courses of national and foreign (world) literature, as tested in Ukraine over the past 17 years, or in the context of an integrated literary course. Outlined the mechanisms of joint coordinated filling of data subjects in countries that would accept the introduction of the scheme, as well as prompt and impartial international monitoring of the implementation of the proposed schemes.
