Abstract

Teaching methodical complex "Ship systems and pipelines"

 

Teaching methodical complex(TMC) "Ship systems and pipelines" designed to guide 180100 - "Shipbuilding, ocean engineering and systems engineering of marine infrastructure." It corresponds to the working curriculum discipline requirements GEF VPO number 16571 of 04.03.2010 (Order of 18 January 2010 number 48) and the position of teaching and methodical complex educational programs of higher education, approved by Order of the Palo rector of 17.04.2012 12-13-87. Discipline "Marine systems and pipelines" is among the general mathematical and natural sciences. According to the curriculum it is given to masters of 1 course in 2 semesters.

The total complexity of the development of the discipline "Ship systems and pipelines" is 3 credit units, 108 hours. Curriculum provides lectures (36 hours), workshops (36 hours) and independent work of the student (54 hours). Contents covers the following issues: the system of marine power plants, the problems of optimization of systems and pipelines, the main task; tasks, milestones, and the design principles of ship systems; tracing pipelines hydraulic losses, ship fittings, hydraulic calculation methods;-block systems, methods of design and construction units, saving energy costs in the systems of control.

Discipline "Ship Systems and pipelines" logically and meaningfully related to other special disciplines. Use the knowledge gained from the study of physics, mathematics, fluid mechanics. The knowledge gained is not directly used in other disciplines and studied in the graduation design, but contribute to the formation of engineering outlook, professional development of specialists.

The study of discipline forming the core competence of specialists in the field of ocean engineering and focuses on the following professional activities (competence): design, production and technology, research and development.

TMC is designed to organize studding the subject and contains: a working curriculum, lecture notes, materials for practical training, materials for self-study, test materials, bibliography, glossary and additional materials.

Bank of tests made by the method proposed in Annex 3 by the order of the Russian Ministry of Education 17.04.2000 1122.

The advantage of this TMC is a summary of the main information in the application of the laws of hydraulics in engineering and ship mechanisms in particular, the introduction of a lecture course section on the detailed study of the movement of the liquid in the pipeline, as well as the large number of tasks in the discipline, covering its main sections.

Training complex includes: a working curriculum discipline, lecture notes (brief supporting lectures); materials for workshops, materials for the organization of independent work of students, test materials, a list of literature (including online resources), and the glossary.
