Art
Art plays an important role in our life. It enriches our life emotionally and spiritually. The types of visual arts include architecture, animation, collage, comics, design, drawing, graffiti, illustration, installation art, photography, sculpture and so on.
According to Leo Tolstoy art must create an emotional link between artist and audience, one that infects the viewer. Art stimulates different parts of our brains to make us laugh or cry, calm down or start shouting. To cut a long story short, art is something that makes us more thoughtful and well-balanced humans.
As for me, I am fond of visual arts. I never miss a chance to visit a picture gallery or a museum of Fine Arts. I am keen on impressionists and abstract arts. Some people say that it is difficult to understand abstract art. I can't agree with them. All it requires is an open mind and a big imagination. Abstract art is open to interpretation, and that is one of the beautiful things about it
Among my favourite artists are Mark Shagal, Kazimir Malevich, SalvatorDahlie, MichailShemyakin as well as classical realistic artists such as Rembrandt, Schemelev, Volkov, Savitsky. I admire the landscapes of the great English artists John Constable, Joseph Turner. While speaking about famous portrait painters I can't but mention the name of Joshua Reynolds. He was born in England but spent much time in Italy where he studied art He became the first president of the Royal Academy of Arts. He made a whole gallery of portraits of the famous people of his timewriters, scientists and actors. He lived and created his works in the 18th century.
