Abstract. The study presents the definition of the information environment, its structure and the types of interactions between the components of the relationship "individual - information environment." As initial conditions used ecopsychological types of interaction (object-object, subject-object, subject-isolated, subject-generating and subject-collaborative). Accordingly, the information environment is regarded as a fact, factor, agent, condition, object.
