Journalist: Evgeny Borisovich, tell in some words about your company. Who are your clients, and what problems do you solve?

Evgeny Zaikin: I direct the International public association "the Great Silk Way. Trade Asia Europe". In 2010 we open work prospect through Association to advance goods on import export to CIS countries and China, and for the numerous Russian consumer to organize deliveries of goods from China. For a long time we had an idea of revival of the former Troitsk trade fair. This year with definition and branch of the land plot in border, near the passable international route from the countries of Asia to Russia and further to Europe fine preconditions to work on construction multipurpose business, exhibition and Asia-Europe shopping mall directly on border of Russia with Kazakhstan to Troitsk, Chelyabinsk region are created.

: Than this project is interesting?

EZ: First, this development of exhibition, trade, entertaining infrastructure and construction of business shopping mall especially as it is actual at prospect of development of the international transport stream. The orientation of movement of the international transport from China and the countries of Asia to Europe and from Europe to China and the countries of Asia lies through Troitsk. This most direct and short direction on a distance in kilometers former historical significant trade "the Great Silk Way", passing from the East.

: Why the business partnership with China is of interest for you? This interest to work with the Chinese business potential or real?

EZ: Long time we worked on deliveries of consumer goods from China when purchasing at border of China with Kazakhstan and transported them to Russia. It was the footwear and clothes, but in connection with difficulties of registration of import to Russia and reorientations of deliveries only to Moscow in 2006 we stopped deliveries of goods, but remained to work at border and became leading commission agents on foreign economic activity with CIS countries.

: Business with China is how specific, in your opinion: goods delivery from China, logistics from China, production quality control in China, etc.?

EZ: Work with China in the territory of any state is for today a fine prospect of business and large and small. For anybody not a secret that the Chinese goods are in the lead in any range, though quality for the present not at all goods what it would be desirable to see upon purchase. But for people of average prosperity is a fine alternative qualitative, but to expensive goods from Italy, Germany, France below). But also it too is disputable. I perfectly know that many branded goods delivered from EU countries, are made in China!

: What prospects of business with China as a whole you see for your company?

EZ: I see prospects of development of business that for today there are orders for delivery of consumer goods footwear, clothes. Besides delivery of the production machine equipment for the Russian businessmen of the Uralo-Siberian region is required. Through our customs post "Hilly" passes many columns of the automotive equipment delivered on contracts to Russia, are trucks, buses, a tractor. And the last two years there is an intensive delivery from China of vegetables and fruit. Together with businessmen from Kazakhstan this year we plan deliveries of plodovoovoshchny production from China and CIS countries to Chelyabinsk, Yekaterinburg, Moscow. In the direction of agriculture development in Chelyabinsk region it would be desirable, since this year to make a set of peasants from China for work in the field of plant growing and animal husbandry, but it while prospect.

: How you estimate knowledge of people, level of their knowledge of various aspects of business with China? As far as it is important for you and your company?

EZ: I estimate such knowledge today, as equal to zero! It is very little given attention and knowledge of the Russian businessmen, wishing to work with China. Only personal initiative of everyone that the smog that also learned! It is real "brake" in business!

: Now the business education, various seminars, courses, trainings is very popular. As far as specifics of business with China has to be studied by managers?

EZ: It is necessary to begin with the elements of communication in business, with work with producers of the light and heavy industry, transport workers, logistic terminals, customs officers, power structures, etc. It is necessary to acquaint all wishing not only with business the theory and practice, but also with history and culture of the country, creativity, sports and rest! It will give an additional impulse for any businessman, the businessman and simply the traveler. And one more aspect is a knowledge of language, at least within communication

: What, in your opinion, will help to minimize numerous risks during the work with the Chinese companies?

EZ: By delivery from the producer to the buyer, and it only true professionals in the field of the industry, trade and foreign trade specialists can make only complete control of quality of production, its cost and control.
