Steps 1-3: Rinse chicken thoroughly under cold running water. Put the chicken into the pot. Pour water to cover the chicken and put it on.

Dont't pour too much water. More water will take it longer to come to the boil. . .

Step 4. Add seasonings

Pinch and put a few bay leaves. Bay leaves will add flavor to our soup. 2/ 3 spoonfuls of salt will do. Cover the pot with the lid and let itboil up. , . 2 / 3 . .

Step 5. Cover the pot and bring to the boil over high heat.

How do we know that the stock has come the boil? Look at thosebubles on the surface. Do you see / feel steam coming out.Boiling liquid and steam are extremely hot. Dont't burn your hand. , ? . / ? . .

Steps 6-7. Skim off the top foam / froth. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for... hour.

This whitefroth on top is extra fat. I am removing it / skimming it off with a slotted spoon / straining spoon. It starts to boil over, lets turn it down to a simmer. It takes chicken an hour to cook. Meanwhile we can prepare vegetables. . . , . . .

Step 8. Prepare vegetables

Which vegetables shall we put into our soup? Help me to choose: 2 carrots, 2 onions, a few popatoes. Do you want to add cucumbers and tomatoes too? No, better eat them fresh. Let's wash and peel these vegetables. You can help me with the onion. Its dry skin is easy to remove with hands. I am using a knife / a peeler to peel carrots and potatoes. Put the peeled potatoe into water to keep it fresh. It will turn brown in the air. Give me the next oneto slice. If you want to join in, let's hold the knife together. Shall we grate or chop carrots? If we want carrot circles, let's chop. Grater cuts into very small pieces. Onion is tricky to cut because it makes you cry. It releases acid substance / gas that makes eyes itch. You can watch me cutting the onion but not too close. We need to fry the onion untill it's golden. Listen to that sizzling sound in the pan. Keep out off / stay away from boiling oil. ? : 2 , 2 , . ? , . . . . / . , . . (), . , . ? , . Ҹ . , . / . , . . . .

Steps 9-10. Remove the chicken and set it aside to cool Add vegatables to the stock and let the soup simmer for... minutes

The stock is ready, the chicken has becometender, let's put it on the plate to cool. Let's put vegetables and allow them simmer untill they are tender. , , . .
