  1. Course description

The course "Philosophy" is scientific and a subject matter, called to give a deep knowledge about philosophy as a specific sphere of cognition, philosophical systems and doctrines that will allow generating complete outlook of the future specialist.

Course goals and objectives

Formation of logic and culture of thinking, and developing of learner research skills through organization of his self-study.

Content-analysis of philosophical texts, comparative analysis of philosophical doctrines, comprehension of the essence of actual philosophical problems.

5.2 Learning outcomes. At the end of the course, students will:

know the basic laws and principles of rational and critical thinking;

understand the essence of the philosophical comprehension of the reality;

be able to apply theoretical knowledge for an analysis and solution of concrete educational and practical tasks.
