TESTAMENT OF MAGDALEN BLAIR, THE (story)

The Stratagem pg.47 HB, 1929

The Equinox Vol.I:9 pg.137 HB, 1978

Note: Crowley, "The best story, as some think, that I have ever written belongs to 1912, 'The Testament of Magdalen Blair'. The idea was based on a suggestion of Allan Bennett's made in 1899, and fallow in my mind ever since." Originally titled The King of Terrors.

TESTIS TESTITUDINIS, LIBER

AC/Three page typed manuscript, 1918/19

MAGICK, Liber ABA, Edited by Fra. Hymenaeus Beta, pg. 673, HB, 1997

Note: This Liber first surfaced and was sold at Sotheby's in December of 1996. The original typescript refers to this simply as "Liber Testis Testitudinis vel." It has no Hebrew letters or, after 'vel', any sub figura. However, in Liber ABA, this Liber now becomes known as Liber Testis Testitudinis vel [Ayin Daleth], Sub Figura LXXIV. Then, in a footnote in Liber ABA, pg.787-788, it acknowledges this information but also adds that this Liber "has been added to the AA Syllabus in Class D as 'Liber Testis Testitudinis vel [Ayin Daleth], Sub Figura 74" or LXXIV. In other words, this is a modern classification (circa 1997) of an original un-numbered Liber. Also, at the end of the typescript it lists a date of "An XIV" as to when AC wrote it, or around 1918/19.
