Besides Chemistry first-year students study Higher Mathematics, Physics, Foreign languages, and other subjects. We have foreign language lessons twice a week. English, French, and German are taught at the University. I learn English and I am very fond of it. Every day except Sundays we have different lectures, seminars, classes, and work in the laboratories. At higher schools exams are held twice a year, in January and June. We will have our vacation in July and August.

My hobby is reading. Im also fond of sports and computer games.

My working day begins early. I always get up at 7 oclock. Before I leave for the University I have a lot of things to do. First of all I do my morning exercises. Then I wash, clean my teeth and get dressed. At 7.30 I have breakfast. At 8 I leave home for the University.

As I live far from the University I go there by bus or by tram. It usually takes me half an hour to get there. (As I live at the dorm I walk to the University. It usually takes me 10 minutes).

Our classes begin at 8.30. I am never late. I always come to the University in time. Between classes we have short breaks. At 13.30 we have a longer break for lunch. I usually have lunch at the canteen or at the buffet.

As a rule we have four lectures or seminars a day. Classes are over at thirty minutes past three. Sometimes I stay at the University because I need a book or an article which I only can get in the reading room.

After classes I usually walk home. There I have dinner and a short rest. Then I prepare my lessons. It usually takes me about two or three hours. In the evening I have supper and watch TV. I usually go to bed at 11 oclock.
