weekends are fast and exciting. weekdays are fast and domestic! I have two sons,
Dylan 7 and Dakota 5. Every morning I get u n hour before them, at 6.00, and I go to the
gym. I g home and I make breakfast, and then I take them to school. Mondays I always go
shopping. I buy all the food for the week. I often cook dinner in the evenings, but not every day because I dont like cooking. Fortunately, m husband, Don, loves cooking. Tuesdays and Thursdays I visit m father. lives n the next block. Every afternoon I pick u the kids from school.

Whats in m briefcase? Well, theres newspaper - French newspaper - and theres dictionary - m French/English dictionary. I have some pens, three I think. Also I have notebook for vocabulary, I write words in that every day. And of course I have m keys, m car keys and m house keys. Oh yes, very important, there are some photos of m family, m wife and m daughter and theres m mobile phone. I ring m home in Paris every night. Thats ll I think. I dont have n stamps and m address book is in m hotel.

I live in the old town near the sea. It is called the Alfama. I have very beautiful f1at. Theres just n room in m f1at, n very big room with n very big window. beds next to the window so I see the sea and ll the lights of the city when I go to sleep. I live alone, but I have cat and Im near the shops and lots of friends m to visit m. I love m f1at.

Elsie Our house is quite old, about fifty years old. Its quite near to the city centre. We have living room, quite big kitchen and three bedrooms, but the room we ll love is our family room.
Ray Yes, there's TV and stereo and large comfortable sofa in there, and some big, old armchairs. We love sitting there in winter with the snow outside.
EIsie Our children arent at home now, they both have jobs in the USA, so most of the time its just Ray and m.

house is fantastic. Its right next to the sea. neighbors are very rich. Some of them are famous film stars. In m house there are ten rooms, five are bedrooms, and everything is white, the f1oors, the walls, the sofas, everything. I also have swimming pool, cinema and n exercise room. I live here alone. Im not married at the moment. -wife is French. She lives in Paris now with our three sons.

I live with m family in house near the sea. We have n n house... er... that is... er... our house doesnt have n walls. Houses in Samoa dont have walls because it is very, very hot, but we have blinds to stop the rain and sun. Our house is in the old style. We have only n room for living and sleeping, so it is both bedroom and living room. We have rugs and we sit and sleep n the floor.

Well, there are lot of things I cant do. I cant drive car, but I want to have lessons soon. I cant speak French but I n speak Italian, m mothers Italian, and we often go to Italy. mothers really good cook, she n cook really well, not just Italian food, all kinds of food, but I cant cook at all. I just love eating! What about sports? Er... I think Im good at quite lot of sports. I n play tennis, and ski, sometimes we go skiing in the Italian Alps, and of course I n swim. But musical instruments - - I cant play n at all- no Im not very musical, but I love dancing! Of course I n use computer - all m friends can.

I worked from 6.00 in the morning until 10.00 at night. Sixteen hours in the cotton fields and I only earned $2 day. I sure hated that job but I loved the poems in m head. I really wanted to learn to read and write. When I was sixteen I marrid Hubert, and soon there were six children, five sons, then daughter, Lily. Hubert died just before she was brn. That was sixty-five years ago. So I looked after m family alone. There was time for learning, but m children, they all learned to read and write - that was important to m. I didn't learn until I was 86, and now I have three books of poems.
