The Past Indefinite (Simple) Tense

Обозначает однократные, регулярные, постоянные и следующие друг за другом действия в прошлом

Singular	Plural
I worked. Did I work? I did not(didn`t) work	We worked. Did we work? We did not (didn`t) work.
You worked. Did you work? You did not (didn`t) work.	You worked. Did you work? You did not (didn`t) work.
He, she, it worked. Did he work? He did not(didn`t) work	They worked. Did they work? They did not (didn`t) work

 

The Future Indefinite (Simple)

 

Обозначает однократные, регулярные, постоянные и следующие друг за другом действия в будущем

 

Singular	Plural
I will work. Will I work? I will not(won`t) work	We will work. Will we work? We will not (won`t) work.
You will work. Will you work? You will not (won`t) work.	You will work. Will you work? You will not (won`t) work

The Present Continuous (Progressive)Tense

 

Показывает действие, происходящее в определенный момент или период времени («временное») действие в настоящем. Возможные сопровождающие фразы: at the present moment, this week(month, year), now. E.g. I am doing my flat now – Сейчас я убираюсь. He is building a house this year- В этом году он строит дом

Нужно помнить о следующих правилах орфографии:

1) e опускается перед ing, e.g. to close – closing

Конечный согласный удваевается перед после краткого ударного гласного и er /ur, e.g. to cut-cutting; to prefer-preferring

3) l удваевается в Британском Английском, e.g. to travel-travelling

4) y не меняется перед ing, e.g. to study-studying; to stay-staying

Ie меняется на y, e.g. to tie-tying

The Past Continuous (Progressive) Tense

 

Показывает действие, происходящее в определенный момент или период времени («временное» действие) в прошлом. Возможные сопровождающие фразы: at that moment, last week(month, year),then. E.g. I was doing my flat at 6 o`clock yesterday–Вчера в 6 часов я убирался. He was building a house last year- В прошлом году он строил дом

The Future Continuous (Progressive) Tense

Показывает действие, происходящее в определенный момент или период времени («временное» действие) в будущем. Также показывает действие, рассматриваемое как «естественный ход событий». Возможные сопровождающие фразы: at 6 o`clock tomorrow, when autumn comes и др.

E.g. I will be doing my flat at 6 o`clock tomorrow-Я буду убираться завтра в 6 часов. Autumn will come. Leaves will be falling- Наступит осень. Листья будут осыпаться. I will be meeting him tomorrow - Я увижусь с ним завтра (мы вместе работаем)

Глаголы чувственного восприятия: to see-видеть, to hear-слышать, to notice-замечать
