Our University
The Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design is comparatively young higher school both in Ukraine and in Europe. It was only 75 in the year 2005 while the other schools of Europe and Ukraine are more than one thousand. Nevertheless our University having separated from the Kyiv Polytechnic institute was developing and strengthening and in the long run has become the famous scientific and educational center not only in Ukraine but for beyond the country.
The building ensemble of the University is situated in the central district Pechersky of the capital of Ukraine, the city of Kyiv.
The Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design numbers more than 15.000 students, 6 faculties, 40 departments, 6 academic buildings, 7 hostels, sport complex, canteen, cafe, experimental workshops, etc.
The faculties of the University are: design department, light industry technologies department, technological equipment and automated control systems department, chemical technologies department, technology-economic department, extra-mural studies, external training form, individual training and pre-university training, foreign students training department.
The most teachers in the stuff are highly qualified (professors, doctors of sciences, academicians).
Modern laboratories, one of the largest libraries in Kyiv and good sport facilities are at students disposal. The students are engaged in research from their first year in societies, design bureaus, scientific circles at each department of the University.
The university is proud of its graduates who have taken up posts of ministers, director chief engineers of enterprises, managers of institutions and organizations not only in Ukraine but in more than 50 countries of the world.
