Title   Paragraph One: Introduction Opinion   Paragraph Two: Topic Sentence Develops the first reason giving facts and statistics to support the statement   Paragraph Three: Topic Sentence Develops the second reason by giving explanations and examples.   Paragraph Four: Conclusion Summary of reasons Restatement of your opinion   Cattle are becoming more and more dangerous for the environment   For many thousands of years, people have used cattle in their households. Animals provided humans with meat milk and also helped to cultivate soil and carry loads. Today it is clear that in addition to the benefits, cattle can bring harm to the environment and, consequently, to humans. So what kind of disservice can cattle do? Recently, scientists have found that cattle are a source of air pollution. Livestock releases gases into the atmosphere, which cause the greenhouse effect. Also, forests are cut down for new pastures, which is the main cause of deforestation in the world, especially in Latin America, where 70% of pastures used to be forests in the past. Nowadays, human population, which is over 7 billion people, needs more and more food. That is why there are many abattoirs and cattle burial grounds all over the world. They are potentially dangerous for humans because they may be a source of various infections including anthrax or plague, which can remain viable for many years in the form of spores.   Taking everything into account, humanity is paying a high price for the use of cattle. Methane is bad for the environment and cattle burial grounds can lead to dreadful diseases. Thus, breeding animals for slaughter we destroy the planet. (211 words)

Title   Paragraph One: Introduction Opinion   Paragraph Two: Topic Sentence Develops the first reason by giving examples and explanations   Paragraph Three: Topic Sentence Develops the second reason giving facts to support the statement Paragraph Four: Conclusion Summary of reasons Restatement of your opinion   Some people are sure bacteria are the main enemies of humankind.   Most people believe that bacteria are extremely dangerous and can seriously impede human activities. But in addition to harmful bacteria, there are useful species that are necessary for the human organism and which are, from my point of view, our friends rather than enemies. Bacteria give us resistance to some unpleasant diseases, for example, cold, pneumonia and so on. Thus, our immune system needs to be constantly stimulated by benign bacteria, which live in our body. Due to this stimulation, our organism activates its own forces to fight infections.   What is more, bacteria can transform nitrogen from the air into amino-groups of proteins therebyproviding circulation of nitrogen in nature. All living organisms need nitrogen to produce proteins, butneither plants nor animals, nor fungi are able to assimilate it directly from the air. It can be done only by special bacteria - Rhizobia. This illustrates the unique role of bacteria in the environment. Taking everything into account, you can see that many species of bacteria are an essential component of most aspects of live. In spite of the fact that some bacteria can be dangerous, I am sure they do more good than harm to humankind.   (200 words)

Title Paragraph One: Introduction Opinion and reasons for my opinion   Paragraph Two: Topic Sentence Develops the first reason by giving examples Paragraph Three: Topic Sentence Develops the second reason giving statistics and facts to support the statement.   Paragraph Four: Conclusion Restatement of your opinion Summary of reasons   Why You Should Vaccinate Your Kids   Since Edward Jenner introduced the first effective smallpox vaccine in 1796, vaccines have been an important part of public health care around the world. Yet today many parents choose not to vaccinate their children. Since vaccines have proven to be successful in halting the spread of disease and have very few side effects, I believe it is important that all parents continue to vaccinate their children.   Around the world increased vaccination improves public health. Diseases like smallpox and polio which used to affect millions of people are virtually unknown today thanks to immunization programs.     It should be noted that vaccines do have side effects, They are usually minor, like redness or swelling around the site of an injection. For instance, in Canada only about one in a million doses of vaccine leads to serious side effects. The most famous study linking vaccines to autism, the one which made many parents worry about vaccination, has been proven false and the doctor who conducted the study has had his medical license taken away.     All things considered, I am for vaccination. So, ifand when you have children, please get them vaccinated. The risks are minimal and you will help eradicate infectious diseases in your community and around the world.   (205 words)
