EXPERIMENTAL STUDY OF DIESEL FUEL QUALITY

The article presents the results of the second phase of experimental studies of the quality of diesel fuel sampled from Irkutsk and Usolye - Siberian gas stations. At the first stage the quality of diesel fuel available to consumers at a lower cost than at the gas station [4] was examined. It is established that the selected key indicators of diesel fuel quality (Standard 305-82) such as density, viscosity, fractional composition, cetane number (that was determined on the analyzer of POL quality) are significantly different from normative values due to the presence of low-boiling fractions.
