Как вводный член предложения

Как вводный член предложения причастный оборот является высказыванием самого автора и отделяется запятой. Когда в этой функции выступает Participle I Active, оно переводится на русский язык:

1. союзом если с неопределенной формой глагола + следует сказать;

2. деепричастным оборотом + следует сказать, что; заметим, что;

3. отдельным предложением в повелительном наклонении.

Model:

Considering the seed, the grains occur in the endosperm and embryo of such oily seeds as those of Ricinus.

Если рассматривать семена, то следует сказать, что зерна встречаются в эндосперме и зародыше таких маслянистых семян, как семена Ricinus. Рассматривая семена, заметим, что зерна … Рассмотрим семена; зерна встречаются (находятся)…

СЛОЖНОЕ ДОПОЛНЕНИЕ

(COMPLEX OBJECT)

Этот причастный оборот представляет собой сочетание существительного или неопределенного местоимения в общем падеже или личного местоимения в объектном падеже с причастием (Participle I или Participle II). Он употребляется после таких глаголов, как to assume, to consider – считать, to find – находить, to make, to set – заставлять, to (dis) like – (не) нравиться, to see – видеть, to hear – слышать, to watch – наблюдать, to feel – чувствовать, to notice – замечать, to listen to -слушать, to look at – смотреть на и др.

    На русский язык этот оборот переводится дополнительным придаточным предложением с союзами как или что.

Models:

I hear the bell ringing in the next room.	Я слышу, как звонит звонок в соседней комнате.
I listened to Ann explaining why she was late.	Я слушал, как Анна объясняет, почему она опоздала.
She watchedthe children playing hockey.	Она наблюдала,как дети играли в хоккей.

Participle II, применяемое в этой же конструкции, имеет пассивное значение.

Models:

He heard his name mentioned in the conversation.	Он слышал, как (что) его имя упомянули в разговоре.
She turned round to pick up her bag and found it stolen.	Она повернулась, чтобы взять сумку, и обнаружила, что она украдена.

Примечание 1. Этот оборот может иметь перед причастием союз as. Тогда причастие можно переводить на русский язык в соответствии с его формой с союзом или без него.

Model:

We considerthis specific fraction as possessing an increased activity.

Примечание 2. Этот оборот с глаголами to have (to get) и to want означает, что действие совершается не самим подлежащим, а другим лицом для него или за него.

СЛОЖНОЕ ПОДЛЕЖАЩЕЕ

(COMPLEX SUBJECT)

Этот причастный оборот представляет собой сочетание существительного в общем падеже или личного местоимения в именительном падеже и причастия (Participle I или Participle II). В качестве глагола-сказуемого предложения выступают глаголы: to assume, to consider, to regard, to find, to show, to report, to observe, to see, to hear, to feel, to watch, to notice и др., употребляемые в пассивном залоге. На русский язык этот причастный оборот переводится придаточным предложением с союзами как или что (аналогично переводу Complex Object).

 

Models:

The submarinewas seen diving.	Видели (было видно),как погружалась подводная лодка.
The pupilswere heard speaking about their finals.	Слышали,как ученики разговаривали о выпускных экзаменах.
Hewas seen surrounded by a group of journalists.	Видели, как его окружила группа журналистов.

Примечание 1. Если перед причастием стоит союз as, то, кроме указанного выше перевода, может быть и дословный перевод.

Model:

This manuscriptis consideredas dating from the 9-th century A.D.

Считают,что эта рукопись относится к IX в. нашей эры. Эту рукопись рассматривают как относящуюся к IX в. нашей эры.
