Present a character sketch of one of the minor characters of the novel (appearance, social background, personal history, interests, traits of character, the most impressive actions in the novel): Effie Trinket, Haymitch Abernathy, Cinna, Gale

Task 6. Comparative studies.

a) Watch a film version of the novel The Hunger Games ( 2012, director Gary Ross) and point out major differences between the literary text and the feature film.

b) Did the film montage of the book events come up to your expectations? Why/ Why not?

c) Are you satisfied with the actors work? Who would you consider a better choice for playing Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark?
