Arbat is in the heart of Moscow. It is the most
famous street of the city and, as Russian people
say, the most beautiful street in the world. There
are large sidewalks and many old historic build
ings along the street. There are also many street
cafés, shops, theatres and restaurants. In Arbat
you can do the shopping, go to the theatre or just
enjoy yourselves walking around.

My favourite dacha is Andrey's. I like its beautiful
green colour and the big garden in front of it.
A dacha is a plot of land out in the country.
Dachas are usually a few kilometers outside the
city. People plant vegetables or grow flowers in
their gardens. They love spending their week
ends there during the spring, summer and
autumn.
My favourite dacha is Andrey's. I like its beau
tiful green colour and the big garden in front
of it.
My family's dacha is 10 miles from Moscow.
We have a small wooden house there with a
red roof and a big garden. In the garden we
grow flowers and vegetables, like tomatoes and
potatoes. I love spending the weekends at our
dacha. When I'm there, I usually go hunting for
berries and mushrooms in the forest.
