The geographical position of Donetsk region.
The territory of Donetsk region is about 26,5 thousand square kilometers. The region is situated in the south-eastern part of Europe. It borders on Kharkov, Zaporozhiye, Dnepropetrovsk, Lugansk and Rostov regions.
We cannot find any high mountains in our region. But the most part of the region is situated on the hills-Donetskiy Kriazh. There is a large Priazovskaya Valley in the south of our region.
