What do you do when something (1) down? Are you the kind of person who knows how things (2) ? Or do you prefer to have them (3) by an expert? A letter to the editor

Dear Sir,

A disastrous holiday

Learning how to learn

A wildlife cameraman

A love of travelling

For Nigel Portman, a love of travelling began with whats (1) .. a gap year. In common with many other British teenagers, he chose to take a year out before (2) .. to study for his degree. Holidays

Sport

Moving in

Past, present and future

Chickpea soup

This recipe is both (1) . and cheap. If you use dried chickpeas (2) them for at least twelve hours in cold water. Drain them and put them in a large (3)with plenty of water. Street markets
