The Importance of High Quality Cable TV Viewing

By Darlene Jover

As a customer, it is important for you to have a high quality product like no other. The product that we're going to discuss for now is about cable TV. As we all know, cable television service is one of those who were attracting a lot of people in watching TV shows. Cable television has been a significant contributor in the technology world, and it continues to grow all over the world. One of the reasons that a lot of people are looking to subscribe with any cable television provider is the number of channels. This is where the numbers came in, and it's an advantage.

An average number of cable television channels per subscribers is from 30 to 60. Some of the subscribers are relying on the number of channels, but others were not. Why is it that others were not relying on the number of channels? It is because other channels that were included in the package are not really important to them. Like for example, if your cable or satellite TV package includes numerous Indian and Chinese channels, do you have time to watch them? We'll, I think most of the subscribers here in the United States are not interested in those channels.

You know why? It makes them feel bored about watching those channels, because most of them cannot understand their language. Unless if you can speak a lot of languages like Chinese and Indian, you may have the advantage over the US citizens. Seriously, international channels we're not really on demand for United States and other English-speaking countries. Not only they weren't interested on those channels, but on other niche channels as well. According to sources in the internet, one person may mark up to 10 channels as their favorites. It means the other big percentage of channels in your cable TV are being ignored.

They were actually looking for high quality cable TV viewing, not quantity. You know why? Cable television isn't just about entertainment and fun, it's about giving quality viewing to the customers. For example, if you subscribed to a high quality cable television package, you may expect a lot of things to receive from them. Not only you will receive cable TV package from them, you will receive a couple of bonuses. Aside from their package or bundle, you will also receive cable internet and digital phone.

Most cable TV companies in the US today are now implementing this kind of strategy. It is one way for them to attract customers or subscribers for good. As a result, a lot of cable television companies are now getting their own success. Due to their high quality service like no other, it keeps their business to get going. We know that quality always have the advantage over quantity. If your cable television service is not in good quality, you may expect to receive less to no customers at all. However, if you changed your game plan by providing them high quality cable TV viewing, we can say that you are one successful franchise. This is where quality rules over quantity in the world of cable television.

Avatar

Avatar is a 2009 American epic science fiction film written and directed by James Cameron, and starring Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Stephen Lang, Michelle Rodriguez, Joel David Moore, Giovanni Ribisi and Sigourney Weaver. The film is set in the mid-22nd century, when humans are mining a precious mineral called unobtanium on Pandora, a lush moon of a gas giant in the Alpha Centauri star system. The expansion of the mining colony threatens the continued existence of a local tribe of Na'via humanoid species indigenous to Pandora. The film's title refers to the genetically engineered Na'vi-human hybrid bodies used by a team of researchers to interact with the natives of Pandora.

Development on Avatar began in 1994, when Cameron wrote an 80-page scriptment for the film. Filming was supposed to take place after the completion of Cameron's 1997 film Titanic, for a planned release in 1999, but according to Cameron, the necessary technology was not yet available to achieve his vision of the film. Work on the language for the film's extraterrestrial beings began in summer 2005, and Cameron began developing the screenplay and fictional universe in early 2006. Avatar was officially budgeted at $237 million. Other estimates put the cost between $280 million and $310 million for production and at $150 million for promotion. The film was released for traditional 2-D viewing, 3-D viewing (using the RealD 3D, Dolby 3D, XpanD 3D, and IMAX 3D formats), and "4-D" viewing. The stereoscopic filmmaking was touted as a breakthrough in cinematic technology.

Avatar premiered in London on December 10, 2009, and was internationally released on December 16 and in the United States and Canada on December 18, to critical acclaim and commercial success. The film broke several box office records during its release and became the highest-grossing film of all time in the U.S. and Canada and also worldwide, surpassing Titanic, which had held the records for the previous 12 years. It also became the first film to gross more than $2 billion. Avatar was nominated for nine Academy Awards, including Best Picture and Best Director, and won three, for Best Cinematography, Best Visual Effects, and Best Art Direction. The film's home release went on to break opening sales records and became the top-selling Blu-ray of all time. Following the film's success, Cameron signed with 20th Century Fox to produce two sequels, making Avatar the first of a planned trilogy.
