STORM WARNING

AT OOOO 4 AUGUS T A deep low central pressure 980 millibars was located at 45 north 27 west moving north-east at 30 knots, affecting an area extending 400 miles from the centre, with long moderate swell from NW in NW and SW quadrants and medium moderate swell from S to SW in SE quadrant and confused sea in NE quadrant winds NW force 8 in SW quadrant, NW to N force 9 in NW quadrant, SW to S forse 9 in SE quadrant and SE to S force 9 in NE quadrant, increasing to force 10 to 11 for a distance of 200 miles, from centre in this last quadrant. This storm centre is expected to slow down and turn northward with a little decrease in wind during the next 24 hours.
