Eysenck Personality Questionnaire brief form and its application for evaluation of adjustment and risk of psychoactive substances usage

Eysenck Personality Questionnaire brief form (EPQ-b) elaboration is presented as well as its factor structure and EPQ-b standardization on big representative sample of the studying youth results. Normative data for different sex groups, senior classes pupils of secondary schools, evening schools, vocational schools, colleges and students of state and private institutes of higher education are given. It is shown that scales have sufficient internal consistency. The prognostic validity of EPQ-b scales in respect of adjustment and risk of narcotic substances (tobacco, alcohol, drugs) usage is determined. The conclusion that EPQ-b is a reliable instrument for personal traits estimation and can be useful in large-scale psychological researches is drawn out.
