Formal partner organisations:
Since mid-2002, WABAN has developed a partnership with the Club B2A called WABAN B2A Nord Pas de Calais. It is a cross border business angel network covering the cross border areas of the Walloon Region (B) and the Nord Pas de Calais (F), aiming to contribute to the development of cross border risk capital, and to foster the creation and development of innovative projects looking for finance. This network was created following the initiative of both regions, through two operators, the Economic grouping of Interest of the Walloon European Centres of Enterprise and Innovation (GIE of the CEEI) and the Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Nord Pas de Calais.
The network benefits from a financial support from the ERDF, the Walloon Region, the Economic grouping of Interest of the Walloon European Centres of Enterprise and Innovation (GIE of the CEEI), the association APARTE, EDF (Electricit de France) and ANVAR (French Agency for Innovation).
