VOICE-FREQUENCY-TELEGRAPH EQUIPMENT

Amplifiers can be supplied either with triodes or with constant or variable pentodes. The equipment contains oscillators, modulators, filters, amplifiers, and amplitude limiters. Usually separate amplifiers are provided for each channel.

As for the amplitude limiters, they are mostly used in one-source fluency-modulated equipment. The oscillators contain either electron valves or transistors. Modulators used in the equipment are of the usual type.

As for the amplifiers, they are transformer-coupled ones. The modulators used in the equipment are relay modulators with polarized telegraph relays. The filters are the so-called differential ones. The modulators combine diode circuits and oscillators.

Questions

1) What devices does the voice-frequency-telegraph equipment contain?

2) What elements do the equipment oscillators contain?

3) How many modulators are they designed to supply?

4) What type modulators are used in the equipment?

5) What parts do FM modulators combine?

6) What types of filters does the equipment contain?

7) What type amplifiers are used in it?

8) What elements may the amplifiers be supplied with?

9) In what way are channels provided with amplifiers?

10) What type equipment is supplied with amplitude limiters?
