Abstract: Domestic Violence (DV) is a well-known problem in the whole world. Many surveys show that between 5% and 45% of women in Europe have been assaulted by their partner at some time of their life.

Training on this sensitive issue such as Domestic Violence problems aims to assist future medical professionals to understand the distribution, dynamics, impacts and responses to domestic violence to be able to intervene and combat effectively.

Problem-based learning in the process of Domestic Violence teaching contributes to the acquisition by students of competencies to identify health and social priority problems related to Domestic Violence (DV) which future specialists will face in their everyday practice.

The aim is to be prepared health professionals who think critically, make appropriate decisions on issues related to Domestic Violence (DV) prevention, considering all possible risks arising from those decisions.

Key words: Domestic Violence (DV), Problem Based Learning (PBL), inovative instrument.
