The given diploma paper is devoted to the competence approach in the education of moral values of secondary school students during their study of a foreign language. The activation of humanitarian interdisciplinary communications and the development of moral values on the basis of formation of the foreign language competence at lessons of a foreign language are examined in the following research.

Much attention is given to the extension and addition of the country study information in the text books in the English language in the main orientation to the cultural intercourse during the lessons in the English language and extracurricular courses.

In conclusion it is stressed that the attitude to moral should be based on humanistic outlook. The work is of interest for narrow circle of readers and experts working in the given branch.
