ABOUT MYSELF
My name is Boris Smirnov. Now I am 20 years old. I was born in Smolensk in 1989. Our family lives in Smolensk in Kirov Street. We have a two-room flat on the second floor. I have a father, a mother and a sister. First of all some words about my parents. My mother is a doctor. She works at a hospital. M father is a teacher. He is a teacher of History. He works at school. My mother is 42 and my father is 45 years old. My grandmother does not live with us. She is a pensioner. She is not very old, she is 65. But she is often ill and my sister and I help her about the house. My sister`s name is Ann. She is a schoolgirl. She is in the 9th form. Her dream is to enter the Academy of Physical Culture, Sport and Tourism. She is a good skier. She has the second degree in skiing. She is fond of sports. I am a trainer. I finished school 3 years ago and entered the Academy of Physical Culture, Sport and Tourism. I am a part-time student. I combine my work with studies. Being a schoolboy I began to go in for sports. I went in for different kinds of sports but I liked gymnastics best of all. I spend much time in a gym. I have the first degree. I want to become a Master of Sports so I train hard. I have 5 or 6 trainings a week. I often take part in different competitions. I was the champion of our city. Last month I participated in regional contest and won the first place. We study many subjects at the Academy. Extra-mural students have two examination sessions a year. We take some exams and oral tests. I like to study at the Academy of Physical Culture, Sport and Tourism.
