1. An Initial Distess Message is only to be transmitted with autorization of the master or person

responsible for the ship.

2. One station will take control of distess communication and assume the duties of controlling

Station (CS).

3. The CS will either be:

a) The vessel in distress.

b) A shore or coast radio station.

c) The one scene commander (OSC).

d) The coordonator surface search (CSS).

In modern conditions to improve the system of foreign language professional higher education in accordance with the concept of modernization of Russian education, the issues of formation of independent and creative thinking of students to achieve practical results continue to be valid.

The entire teaching process in teaching foreign language students of marine specialties is aimed at enhancing students' mental activity, which stimulates them to acquire self-knowledge in the classroom not only English, but also in everyday life. For effective language training it is necessary to use modern methods and techniques in teaching.

One of the main modern teaching methods is a business game, which develops the theoretical and practical thinking of the future specialist, increases the motivation to master a foreign language contributes to the education of the students of the necessary professional skills as the ability to take decisions, ability to obey, and also develops and produces knowledge, skills that contribute to a successful career. All this affects the development of professional competencies of future specialities.

The article considered the efficiency of the business game as a teaching technique in foreign language training for full-time students expected to be marine and naval specialists. The study has determined tasks in occupation-specific foreign language training in oral practice.

In modern conditions the sailors have to work in mixed foreign crews, so the ability of future engineer-navigator quickly and correctly the perception of foreign speech and the ability to conduct professional communication in a foreign language in high-risk, it is advisable to work out situations during the games business in the classroom special English.

Business Game is held in the classroom of a foreign language and is aimed at the application of acquired knowledge and skills in emergencies where semen face in the working situations and everyday communication. Business game provides a procedure of communication between students in the professional English during watchkeeping on the bridge, anchor, mooring and loading operations, emergency situations in accordance with the requirements of international conventions SOLAS - 74/78 and STCW-78/95 using standard phrases IMO Marine Communication.

This complex of exercises is aimed at the development of dialogical speech (conducting radio) students in all kinds of speech activity (speaking, listening, writing and reading) with it by using a technical training (tape recorder to listen to radio telephone talks, videos, and ICT). Organization of individual assignments based in the interests, and the individual characteristics of students.

It is advisable to turn the game into a business training of Professional Conduct in accordance with the official duties for the organization of external medical care (first aid, examination of injured or ill, the organization of medical advice by radio, the organization statsionarnoggo treatment, the establishment of accompanying documents). In order to enhance the language of communication is necessary to teach the students a special terminalogy, one used in the organization of health care. In the game business to pay much attention to briefly describtion of the symptoms of accidents and diseases, the most common on the vessel, pay attention to the recommended treatment algorithm for the purpose of mastering a communicative professional behavior.
