Diagnostics and forecast of professional motivation in psychological selection

It is asserted the necessity to use new methods of professional motivation diagnostics for determining individual characteristics of sense-valuable constructs of different motives and peculiarities of subjective reflection in describing of essential aspects of individual motive activity. There was elaborated the method of professional motivation assessment in psychological selection of students of military universities. The method is based on the principles of mental projection and Kelly's Repertory Grid Technique. The procedure of the method's designing, application and analysis of results was eleborated empirically. The data obtained in assessment of professional motivation of different groups of students of military univesities (who studies successfully, washed-outs, etc.) are presented. The efficacy of experimental method for the forecast of professional aptitudes that manifest in significant decrease of washed-outs' number (cause of low achievements and reluctance to study) was defined.
