Psychological portrait of a man constructed by nonverbal peculiarities of the speech 1

One of the main research approaches of the laboratory (since 1998-group) nonverbal communication, IP RAS - empirical and theoretical foundation of possibility to construct a physchological portrait of a man by peculiarities of nonverbal behavior in the process of speech of speech - in discussed. Psychological portrait is considered as a subjective image of a speaking person in the consciousness of a recipient. The degree of adequacy of psychological portrait and its real prototype is analyzed. There are also studied individual and typological peculiarities of speaking persons and recipients as a subjects in the system of nonverbal communication. Psycho-physiological nature of emotional impression, impression, the role of emotional ear in communication, constructing a psychological portrait and musical creation are considered. There are presented the portraits of people from different professional groups (businessmen, artists and politicians) made using different methods including methods of time inverted speech and subjects of perception' comparison of acoustic and visual estimations of a speaking person.
