On first picture we can see children celebrating girl's birthday. She is blowing candles. Someone is clapping and there we can see clown and other stuff. On the second picture we can see an old man. He seems to be very upset because he is alone. He doesn't have anyone and it is also his birthday. That is what these two pictures have in common. They are different because of its different attitudes: the children are happy and an old man is very upset. I would prefer the first because they have a good attitude and an old man do not.
